Connecting with Young People

Crux Sports are used to working with young people of all backgrounds. There is a common perception that the young people do not consider themselves to be worthy of investment. The team are able to breakdown stereotypes and other barriers and connect with young people on their level. The competitive edge of the cage means the team and the young people are all able to engage with each other on an equal par and are therefore so much more comfortable engaging in conversations about purpose and belief.

Sharing the Gospel

Crux Sports creates opportunities all over the place to share testimonies to crowds or to one person. Before any cage session it is made known to all who will listen why Crux Sports are there, and that is because Crux Sports believes that there is Hope, there is a God with a plan and a purpose for every young person’s life, Crux Sports wants to show young people whatever their circumstances; their family situation is shocking; they don’t value themselves; they can’t see their purpose in life, that there is a God who knows, a God who cares. Sports break down barriers to young people, its high energy and full of excitement, it develops trust very quickly.
